We stayed 5 days here for a winter getaway to Big Bend. The resort is about 45-55 min drive to the main parts of Big Bend National Park and 15-20 min to the Big Bend Ranch State Park.

The staff is very welcoming and the management was so kind to my family. We ate on the resort almost every day and the food was as good as the views. We loved the sandwiches from the Lajitas general store too.

We didnt golf, but the course looked really lovely. We did go check out the stables, drove up to the lookout and walked on the trails. I also had a wonderful spa session which was super relaxing after days of hiking in big bend.

The only reason I took one star off is because the bathroom was a visibly dated and was only a standing shower, which was a little difficult with a toddler. There was also no microwave. We loved the decor of the main room tho and were glad to have a mini fridge to keep baby items cold.
