I did my homework and chose Tuas Power for the following reasons:

1. Competitive pricing
2. No hidden fees
3. Ease of signing up, do it online with your phone or tablet
4. Combination of the regular SP bill for water and gas, which means convenient mode of payment
5. Earn Link-points passively

After more than 1 year with them, I am glad to have selected this service provider. I read that some experienced higher charges from when they were using SP. I am not sure what they mean, because the bill had been the same as SP, consolidated with gas and water. Readings are done every other month, and you can even check your own metre from time to time to confirm that you are billed correctly. I have no issues with their pricing thus far.

I know that some are complaining about the customer service, but I recently signed up for my in-laws online, there was no need for me to contact customer service at all. Just stand-by nric, latest utility bill, select your plan and a confirmation email comes almost immediately. Commencement will take several weeks as the staff will come by to check the metre reading but it had been a seamless process.
