I have been a client at Vermillion Financial for over 25 years. They have grown with me as my financial picture has changed over the years. They have always been very responsive to any inquiries and I feel their advice has always been solid. The real test of a financial advisor comes when the market takes a downturn and you are watching your balances decrease with it. I found out during those times (corporate bankruptcies, changes in employee pension plans, the Great Recession, etc) that I was comfortable with the way my money was being handled and I slept well knowing that, while some people may be doing better through a downturn, a lot of people were doing a lot worse than I was thanks to the long-term outlook Vermillion and I had taken with my assets. The other aspect of Vermillion that I have been very happy with is the holistic approach to planning that they take. They learned about me, my spouse, and my family and what we wanted and needed as our lives changed. I was offered several pieces of planning advice that I had never considered before, some of which I took, some I did not. But they were always watching and suggesting options to create a whole financial package from insurance, to estate planning, to taxes, to investing. In my opinion Vermillion has been a very good choice for financial advice.
