Review of Marival Resort & Suites|

Let me start by saying, this was a family vacation...

Let me start by saying, this was a family vacation and I had to book this hotel for one night because the other hotel didn't have rooms available for Monday night. We got to the Marival on Monday with my husband and two boys. The employees at the front desk/lobby were very welcoming and gave us a nice spacious room.

Now the food and service at the restaurant/buffet was terrible. The food was not good, no taste at all. The tables and floors were dirty. Took some time to get a table because they didn't have silver ware clean, that's what the hostess told us. Then my kids wanted ice cream... went to look for ice and there was only a bit left. Asked the lady that was doing the crepes and she told me there was no more ice cream. I asked her for a spoon so I could get the ice cream for my kids and she told me I had to wait. While waiting for the spoon another lady came for a crepe and asked for ice cream... and she gave the ice cream to her!!! Although I had been waiting for like ten minutes just for a spoon.

My kids are 3 and 11, my 3 year old started crying because there was no more ice cream. Any parent can understand how upset I was.

Don't stay at the Marival. If you want a good experience go to the Riu Vallarta which is 3min away from the Marival. We had a reservation at the Riu for the rest of the week and had an amazing time, nothing compare with the bad experience at the Marival.
