The Tower of London is a must see place in almost all guides and I would agree, but I have to say the guided tour (which is free with entree) is the real must try here. They have a ton of back stories and interesting facts that make you feel what it might have been like to live there.

Oh and in case you were wondering, there are bathrooms inside the Tower of London and some light food options.

Lastly, there is a lot of stair climbing here, enough to mention it and consider it if you have little kids.
