A few years back we met with the president Keri Schmidt to discuss membership and potentially bringing a holiday attraction to the area. I would never forget the way I was treated during the meeting and the fact that she rolled her eyes when I showed her video of our attraction. It may seem like a trivial gesture, but it was a reflection of her character and how out of touch the leadership is. Not surprised to see the lack of diversity of this chamber s members in an ironically deeply diverse county. We are members of the Woodlands, Texas City and the Galveston chambers of commerce and have never been treated with such manners. I ve waited a few years to see if there is any change in management and was surprised to find that nothing has changed.
