I replaced an oil furnace with an air handler unit...

I replaced an oil furnace with an air handler unit and replaced the heat pump. The efficiency from those old units to the new are night and day and it no longer sounds like a wind tunnel in my hallways. The installation technicians are 5 stars all the way. The way they completed our entire project in one day while keeping everything in my house clean was impressive. The sales team is the glue that held this project together. If it weren't for our salesman Scott for handling this project, I don't think I would've ever resolved some issues that happened after our install.

There was an issue that came up with a part a few weeks after install. A technician was supposed to be dispatched to address the issue. After several hours of calling and calling and requesting service, I called Scott our salesman and he was able to get a technician dispatched the next business day. The first technician who was on call never responded.

Our permit inspection was due after the Maryland State of Emergency with Covid-19 and we were told the county inspections office was closed from BlueDOT. When I called the county inspector myself we discovered the inspections office is open and the inspections could be done electronically during this time and resolved a solution with the Chief Inspector of Harford County. I've had to press hard multiple times to resolve the permit inspections electronically for a week before finally getting a call back today. We're working on resolving the inspections electronically now.

Again, we were able to push this through because of the communications of our salesman. The office receptionist has been a gatekeeper and not allowing me to get a hold of a Service Manager or the inspections coordinator and has only "passed the information along". The only person who has ever effectively returned any phone calls with any information showing some actions has been my salesman and I've had one return call (today) from the inspections coordinator after I've pressed with the salesman to get this callback right away.

Really BlueDOT deserves a lower rating, but it isn't fair for the stellar work their installers have done and what the salesman has done to provide far exceptional service.

If I could rank just their administrators and service managers response I'd call it a 1-star review. The rest of the team really carried more then their own weight to save this deal. If it weren't for the Scott I would've had them rip the entire system out and gotten someone else to resolve our concerns.
