While I did not attend the school my parents were the first to be married in Anne Ruttlage Hall and my mother received her A.B. Degree there in 1940. So I grew up with stories of Miss Hawkins and Dr. Mac, the Cocking sisters and their mother "Mommie Doll", "Sugar" Mother's Freshman roommate from Hawaii, "Allie Cat" who marked Bunch and was the first I observed breastfeeding and the stories go on without ceasing!
