This is a fun, touristy place. If your are passing through Amarillo, you should stop in and eat. I do not always expect the food to be great at a big tourist stop, but I have always found the steaks at Big Texan to be good.
Recently, we were passing through during breakfast time and decided to try their breakfast. We both ordered the breakfast bar and we were pleasantly surprised how good it was. They have fruit, cereals, sausage and great bacon that sure seemed salt cured to me and sliced thick. You can also order toast, french toast (Maybe pancakes), eggs to order and omelets also made to order.
They mistakenly gave my omelet to a lady that thought it was her husband's, so they came to the table and told me. They replaced it with a huge omelet that included a generous portion of steak inside! Wow! It was great. (Picture included)
They do have a good amount of truck and RV parking in the back as well.
