Campbell-Logan Book Bindery:

Campbell-Logan Book Bindery:
I brought my uncle's memoires to Campbell-Logan Bindery. His 300 Page memoire is great (he liberated Paris in WW II). They offered a great selection of leather covers and interior paper and more importantly discussed the advantages of each type of binding. I selected a goatskin cover with raised hubs and gold lettering on the cover. I also brought an old childhood book that had seen better days but it has sentimental value to me.
I just picked up the finished books yesterday and they are better than I ever expected. The leather cover on the memoires is a beautiful black pebbled leather with a perfect gold stamp title. The sewn binding is strong, the pages are perfectly aligned...it's great. The childhood book was recovered and restored...also a great job. The work was completed when they promised.
I had a new book bound in Manhattan when I lived there. It was more expensive and the leather quality was poor.
Campbell-Logan's prices are very fair for truly custom book binding and their work is exceptional. I recommend them without any reservations.
