Depressing and cruel. I felt sick seeing the penguins cramped in the dingy locked basement room with a tiny pool and plastic floor. Even worse was the lone sea lion, where there used to be an otter enclosure years ago. Heartbreaking.

Some of the fish were visibly distressed.

It made me reconsider my attitudes to animals in captivity as "entertainment". I was glad to get out, unfortunately, the same could not be said of the sea lion.
