I applied for an HR role they advertised as available, and they called me immediately, letting me know how impressed with my experience they were, and how they wanted to move me through the process quickly. I spoke with both Cate and Narita, who both said the same thing. They both had telephone interviews with me, and Cate even sent me assessments after the phone interview, while I was on my lunch break.
In less than an hour, before I even get back from lunch, and before I got to take their assessments, Cate sent a rejection email to me. I get those all the time from companies who never expressed an interest, and never called me... But I was really confused because we had just spoken on the phone. So I emailed Cate for clarification into why I was no longer being considered. No response. I called, no return call. No explanation whatsoever. Much time has passed. Still no response. I suppose that means I'll never get one....
I guess I can be grateful that they didn't prolong any more of their unprofessionalism. At least when I reject candidates I've already spoken with, I provide them with a reason for it. It's what sets real professionals apart from SCAMMERS. ;)
