Would give it a negative rating of I could. Statue Cruises is completely unprepared for any sort of inclement weather. Just got on the boat in a high tide and visitors were literally having to jump over waves just to access the gangway. Completely unacceptable and dangerous. The employees were doing the best they could, but I cannot believe that management at Statue Cruises and the National Park Service would put visitors and their workers in such a situation. Someone easily could get seriously hurt, and it certainly both ruins a visit to the statue and leaves visitors with a negative impression of New York and the United States.
