Alain Jamet Review of Carsat Sud-Est
Lamentable management!
Lamentable management!
Expatriate in Thailand for 10 years, every 6 months, I send a certificate of life. The last one, sent in early December, was deemed inadmissible. My pension was therefore blocked immediately. I received the blocking letter a month and a half later ... (from France the usual time to receive all my letters is 8 days.)
So I had 2 life certificates drawn up by the French Consul in Bangkok and mailed them on March 16, 1 addressed to Marseille the other to the center dedicated to this control service. CARSAT received them every 2 on March 24.
To date, May 5, still no payment, so I miraculously succeeded and after a very long telephone waiting period, in having someone from CARSAT who confirms to me that I have received my documents but informs me that they have also makes a request for control at the town hall of my Province located in the depths of Thailand, (request formulated in Thai I imagine! ... Town hall which of course does not know me at all since I am French / expatriate and known only to immigration services) which means that CARSAT questions a document established by the Consul of France !!! What more ?
Faced with my nascent nervousness, my interlocutor then directs me to another person who did some research to finally tell me that everything was OK and that she was doing what was necessary for my 3 months of late payment to be regularized ... I have a doubt!
In short, total shame for an administration stuck in its administrative cogs from another time.

I follow up on my 1st message ... following my sending of a certificate of life signed by the French consul in Bangkok and received by your services on March 24, my 3 months of late pension were finally regularized on May 15 or 52 days after receipt of the regularization document !!! ... a shame !!!
But it is not finished so far, and we hit rock bottom !!!
Yesterday, a French expatriate living 30km from my home brought me a document from your services, addressed to the town hall (it does not exist!) Of Sisaket (provincial town on which my address depends) and asking for a certificate of death concerning me, BEING PRESUMED DEAD by the CARSAT !!!
Of course this letter written in French was not understood and distributed in the first known French of the local Thai post office ... here we speak Thai or English ... rarely French.
Contacting the civil status services of a foreign country to find out the fate of a French expatriate is an aberration, the qualified service is the French Embassy or the country's immigration ...
So, by opening the mail, this French expatriate was able to locate me and bring me the mail ... I am sure that I have proof of all my statements, all mails and addressed to CARSAT being made by tracked mail.
I cannot understand and admit such amateurism in the proceedings, such contempt for the member, disrespect for CARSAT oozes at all levels.
I dare to hope that my pensions having been regularized on May 15, I am finally well considered as alive by the CARSAT.
Voila, so given the registration deadlines I will now send my certificate of life in October.
