They treat the clientele differently if you are not staying in the hotel. Myself I was staying at collectionneur hotel in Paris another 5* hotel but the food and the service were not that amazing so I was having most of my breakfasts and lunches and even dinners sometimes at the Four seasons and It happened to me once that the hostess asked me before anything if I was a client of the hotel ... I was shocked to hear that because even for a drink or breakfast you become a client at last !!! After I said no she didn't make an effort about my wishes, where I wanted to seat and whether I wanted to eat at the bar or the galerie... such a disappointment ... for sure I won't be staying and won't be a client of this hotel except if they fire this girl ... the Bristol hotel and the Shangri la never acted this way and I would go for these hotels rather than the four seasons... disgusting !
