I have been at Guthrie Job Corps Center since November of 2017. The first few weeks were really exciting and the staff was very respectful. I have completed my trade, and now I'm currently enrolled in college through the center. Now, that only means that I go to college and the center provides me a bed, meals, and transportation.

This place is a joke. Even though the college students wake up at 5 am, leave no later than 6:30 am and do not get back until 8 sometimes 9 at night is ridiculous. The food is unhealthy in every way possible. The Residential Advisors are disrespecful and challenge their authority in any way, they will go to extremes to make your life miserable.



They expect you to act like adults, which we are, but we get treated like children. I do not recommend this place to anyone. My mistake was making a two year commitment for college. I should have completed out when I completed my trade to get my completion money. Now they won't give me my completion money until I finish college

Everything about this place screams hell. This center is very unprofessional, unproductive, and unorganized. Do NOT come here. Job corps is a great program, but this center is not the one you would want to be at.
