The basilica shows the glory of architecture to honor God in the spaces both large and small throughout the building. The small intimate chapels span the world in devotion to Mary, the mother of Christ, with many countries represented. The large church above is on a gigantic scale with mosaics, art and stained glass commemorating the saints and apostles.
