This is a horrible hotel in all respects. We booked looking at all the raving reviews on google and TripAdvisor etc. Perhaps our standards are high and we expect a hotel at that price to be at least good if not exceptional.
The location is good but this is located right on a busy road so as soon as you step out you are met with weirdos of all kinds. Especially at night there are drunks and all sorts of crazy people at the doorstep. Doesn't feel very safe.
The hotel has absolutely zero character. The staff is mostly Eastern European most likely working on minimum wage so they are least interested in doing their job. I didn't have any problems with them but there is zero warmth etc that you expect from hotel staff.
The food is horrible so don't expect much at all. The hotel rooms are ok. Best described as three star.
I am amazed at how low people's standards are. This is a hotel best avoided and I wouldn't recommend it even at half fare.
