DON’T INVEST WITH THIS COMPANY
Unfortunately I have invested for many years with this company believing their self generated hype. I was not happy with their 1 or 1.5% annual bonuses bearing in mind the other excellent rates that are available with other companies. I decided to transfer some of my policies to another, better performing company ( I invested £50000 of my pension with Wealth at work 10 years ago and that investment is worth in the region of £85,000). I invested £9779.91 with Metfriendly on 8/03/21 and the cash in value is £10042.47, a profit of £262.56!
£20000 on 29/11/21 - £380.12 profit
£20000 on 3/5/22 - £471.49 profit
£7168.38 on 25/2/22 - £158.81
Absolute joke returns as they apply market value reductions to your policies? In the letter accompanying the valuation they boast that after 10 years your lump sum ISA would increase by 28% equivalent to 2.8% per annum? They are not the figures they quote in their promotional literature?
Bearing in mind I invested £20000 in a cash ISA in November 2024 and that has already made a profit of just under £600 you can see the returns offered by Metfriendly are pitiful
Invest elsewhere!!!
