This is a fairly modern theatre, and that gives it numerous positives in practical matters (good views from most seats, plenty of legroom and enough toilets). Our seats were very comfortable compared to some theatres. One negative was the lack of signage - both to find the Barbican from the nearest tube station, and then to find our way around once we were inside. There were very few signs pointing the way to the circle for instance.
