This hospital seems to me to be a good caring and helpful place. The emergency department is very good. They really know what they are doing. You can have walk in surgery and leave the same day. I spent most of my day yesterday at Lake Norman Regional. I had a procedure to help break up and hopefully help me to pass smaller pieces of kidney stones. The people that I can remember coming in contact with were very happy, nice, and helpful to me. My comfort was important to me and them. I remember being in a room that was a pre procedure room. I remember being there and being taken to the area that would do the procedure. I remember meeting the Nurse and Doctor that would do the procedure. I remember leaving the procedure room and going back to the room I was in at the beginning. I felt nothing and remember anything else about the procedure to reduce the size of my kidney stones. I can and will totally recommend this procedure as well as the hospital. Thank you goes out to everyone that I came into contact with.
