Review of Blue Point villas & spa

The location is great, and the view is spectacular...

The location is great, and the view is spectacular, we loved watching the surfing. However, the quality of the rooms are lower than expected. Our first room was dirty and there was mold on the roof and walls, the shower didn't work and the shower curtain was covered in mildew. The staff were helpful and immediately escorted us to another room, no questions asked. The second room was much better, we were upgraded to a suite, it was nice but not as nice as you would expect a suite to be... However it was clean and no mold so we were happy. We probably wouldn't recommend this accommodation to someone, we got a deal so it ended up being OK for the price, but I think the regular price is expensive for what you get. We also felt like we were mislead that there would be a shuttle to the airport included but it wasn't they just had a taxi ready for us when needed but it wasn't free. We also had 2 friends that we invited to spend a couple hours at the pool with us, but they were going to be charged $70 CAD each if they wanted to swim. That being said, the views are great, and great location to get to caves, beaches, and cliff side warungs, however there are more accommodations in the area that may be as good location.
