I lived here from mid-2010 - early 2011 at the Zondervan home via Michigan DHS. This may sound like either a lifetime ago or a couple years ago although to me, now in my mid-20s this was not that long ago, especially not counting all that has happened in my life since then. The staff I knew at the time were excellent, Christian, dedicated to helping and befriending troubled youth and introducing them to Jesus Christ, and able to deflect the stress caused by their jobs. Some of them had worked for Wedgwood since the mid-90s. Unfortunately I cannot attest to their quality as of 2018, 8 years later -- some staff left while I was there, some have left their positions, the kids have aged out; I've even heard of one of my co-residents who passed away sadly. However, I feel like enough time has passed that I can evaluate what I experienced. Do your research, but I experienced excellent care at Wedgwood Christian Services. I would work here, even.
