A helicopter tour is a awesome way to learn and see more of NYC. I strongly recommend you to do this but unfortunately not with this company.

You have more Helicopter tour agencies at the heliport and I would recommend you to go check with all of them to see which one fits the best for you. Ask them good questions about how much it is going to cost, for how long the flight is going to be, if there is going to be a automatic guide through the speakers (if yes, let them know what language it should be), if photos are in/excluded, if there are any extra fees ( I saw angry customers who had to pay an extra $30 when they checked in) and be very strict about the time that you want to fly!!!

In my case I paid around $200 for a 15 minute flight what unfortunately didn t go as expected.

When I arrived I had to wait way to long while I was very strict about the time that I wanted to fly so I could see the sunset, they assured me that that would be no problem but in reality I had to wait to long with result: flying in night. I couldn t see a lot and the whole flight just wasn t as expected what was obviously very unfortunate..

Besides that, they assigned me the front seat what is actually the best seat but after 5 minutes before departure they changed me with an lady that joined my group... I had to sit in the upper back/right seat where I couldn t see a lot (Basically the worst seat).

And last but not least they changed the language of the guide from English to German because of 4 German speaking people...

After speaking to the manager the pilot joined the conversation and started to scream at me that because I m Dutch I should speak German as well and that I m not getting any refund or a free ride if that was my plan. The manager had eventually offered me 2 pictures for free while I told him that it wouldn t make me feel any better after paying $200.

I hope I ll have another chance to do the helicopter flight but then with another company for sure.

Zip Aviation Does not answer her emails. As I already said, 0% customer services.
