The Cabin Coffeehouse has a wonderful feel to it. Incredibly creative interior with food and drinks to match. The menu is a bit confusing and hard to read as most of it is written in chalk on the walls. It's easy to miss something. The food is fantastic with really unique and thoughtful breakfast and lunch items. They make several latte flavor syrups in house, truly unique to the area. The espresso and coffee in their raw forms took a slight down turn when ownership changed. I'm not sure if that is because of different suppliers but the espresso flavor could certainly improved. The service also is a little bit lacking. They typically feel understaffed, so if there are more than a couple people in line, the wait is a little bit longer than one would expect. All of that aside, I would recommend this shop if you are looking for a unique experience and an alternative to chain coffee shops. Cantabria Coffee Company is also a comparable alternative.
