Crimson Jewel Stables is hands down the most professional, courteous and high quality riding instruction I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Odessa Johnson is highly knowledgeable, has a God given talent and was truly put on this Earth to teach people how to ride horses, properly! There are so many other riding instruction programs out there that simply teach a child to ride adequately however at Crimson Jewel, students learn all functions of horse care and are exposed to riding multiple horses throughout their lessons which is extremely important to developing true horsemanship skills. Most riders can master riding one horse but it is profoundly important to ride various horses at different skill levels and with unique demeanors to truly become an exceptional and well rounded equestrian. Also, other riding programs will not teach you how to properly groom, lead, halter, saddle your own horse and this is at the detriment of any young rider. No matter how big or small, at Crimson Jewel you learn how to properly care for your lesson horse, a value that is more important than I can explain. I could type for hours on how Crimson Jewel/Odessa Johnson set a new standard in horsemanship for myself and for so many others but I'll let you figure it out on your own! You will not be disappointed in choosing Odessa as a riding instructor!
