The state of Florida has an absolutely horrible unemployment office!!! They make everything unbelievably difficult. They don t return phone calls. They don t even have a hold for operator option. Because of Covid I have been trying to get unemployment payments since MARCH...it s almost July and have not received a dime!! The one person I finally got through to (after 50 phone calls that get hung up on because of their lack of a hold option) simply said nope you got to the wrong person and they refused to transfer me to anyone that could have helped. This entire department including the people that supposedly make improvements to the website should be replaced with people that can actually help. Let them experience how much of a headache they ve put all of us through. If I could give this dept zero stars I would do it every day.
