This has to be the worst hotel experience that me ...

This has to be the worst hotel experience that me and and my wife and her 8-ball pool team have ever had. First Lets start with the $15 per person ride from the airport which is only 6 miles away. Sure you can get their in other ways, but the Westgate Airport shuttle is your only guaranteed ride back. That was 90 bucks total.

Once we arrived at the hotel, (5:15 pm) we got NO help with the luggage nor were we even greeted by any staff. Luckily we were there on an APA invite, so our room key was booked, reserved, picked up,and given to us by our league representative. So we still had no contact with the hotel staff until after 7pm our so. But once we did, it was non-stop harassment about their time share program. "You can be an owner of the hotel," " No, I just want to be a wanted guest." In our 5 day stay, I was asked some type of time share question 7 times that I for sure remember. And my wife was asked 9 times. I don't know how many times the other four team members we interrupted for the time share.

Now let's talk about these expensive rooms of theirs. Only 1 of the 2 keys actually worked for our room, we opened room 1918 and it didn't look too bad. Now remember, we didn't book or pay for these rooms so the fact that our rooms weren't together is something that Westgate couldn't fix, so I didn't say nothing about that. The other half of the team stayed in room 1927, now 8 doors don't seem like a lot, but it was. Their room had crushed Cheetos on the floor and our room appeared unvacuumed as well with various small bits of trash on the floor. But the first thing I noticed was is that it had a small refrigerator but no coffee pot. Not did it have a microwave. Just a couple of hot bottles of water with a $4 price tag on each. You can't even reheat the cold $11 cheeseburger they sale downstairs. There is a coke machine right outside our door, but after it took $3 off my credit card without having anything in the machine. Of course I didn't know that for sure until later. I thought I was doing something wrong, so I put 3 one dollar bills in it. That is when I found out that it was completely empty. I never tried that again. In fact, I warned the team and unplugged it for the rest of the floor. There was not even a water left in it, but there it stood all bright, cold, and humming. With a 112 degree temperature outside. $6 lesson learned in just a few minutes.

They have a thing called "Go Green". Where you call and refuse turn down service and they give you a $10 voucher. I have seen this before and in that case, the HoJo still brings clean linen and towels, they just leave them outside your door and you clean your room yourself. Well not at Westgate if you call that number, you get nothing, no lining, No towels, No nothing, not even the voucher. They got me 4 times on that. There's another $40.

While we were there, I had gotten my phone stolen near the pool, in a smoking area. And even though there is a casino their and about a million cameras. Westgate does not care about nor or they responsible for your belongings in any way shape or form. Period. No help, nor sympathy.

Let's get to the gross stuff real quick. We seen German cockroaches running on the ground near the the refrigerator out side on the 3rd floor in pool cabana number 17. And real quick, we took pictures of the reptile eggs that had hatched in the bottom draw.
