If you want to go to the island where the statue is, you have to go on this cruise, it is the only one authorized.
Better buy tickets online, in advance .... there is still a huge line / queue to board. If you have the misfortune of not having bought and want to queue to buy, be prepared to make TWO huge rows / queues.

If you just (like me) want the picture of the girl in green, take the free ferry to Staten Island that leaves every 30 min, it's FREE !! And get to the right side, and voila. I did that, and I avoided both tails ...
