Rented with this company. Upon move out everything...

Rented with this company. Upon move out everything was left as it was when move in. Actually most was better than when move in due to the maintenance man on site was a drug addict and he would steal and then get drunk or high and never fix anything we paid out of pocket to have things fixed correctly. I received a check with my deposit in the mail after move out, and then received another check with money owed to me with both being totaled at about $600 with a letter stating everything was clear and apartment was inspected and good. Then 2 years later I find out that I supposedly have a balance due to these people of $705.00. So how is it I owe money but yet these people pay me and give my deposit and everything else back with no money owed after 2years of not living there I have a balance. Hmmm that doesn t even seem right. I am fighting it. I will get to the bottom of this bc it is ridiculous. I m sure they will all of a sudden have NO records of sending me payments or anything, but I will go to the bank and see if I can retain the copy of checks cashed almost 2 years ago. Don t rent here if you want your name clean. That s all.
