I hate to let one encounter shape an entire experience but I was incredibly stunned at the drive-on ticket collector's behaviour as I boarded the ferry in my vehicle.

It was a two-pronged ticket collection and the man was not directing which lane to come forward. This is fine, humans can figure out these things for themselves, but by the time the driver and I had figured out who was going first (took all of 5 seconds) the ticket collector was rolling his eyes. I pulled up and handed my ticket to him and he snatched it out of my hand. What an incredibly unpleasant individual. He was an older gentleman. Its funny how different the attitude is from the onboard crew as opposed to the Marshal's at the terminal.
