Last year we were excited to see that one of our favorite old restaurants Peerces had reopened, and we were further intrigued by the fact that they were serving "Upscale Indian". My wife and I went last night for our anniversary. First of all I will say both of us love indian food and we do have a favorite Indian restaurant that we love in the area. Peerces was not only excellent in a similar manner, but brought us to a different perspective of Indian Cuisine, with hints of french fushion , gorgeous presentation, and most of all a restrained and refined subtlety in its delivery. From the exquisite salads( pear & beet), perfect not-so small plates (crab, eggplant, caddy, etc.), to the Wonderful entrees, ( Obviously homemade Paneer, Garam Masala Goat), and the even the Desserts, it was all delicious and just unique enough to open your eyes to new Indian Cuisine possibilities in the future.
We will be back, and we may even drive to Fulton and check out Ananda. Great Job !
