The hospital on-floor medical staff was great. The check-in, emergency room, billing and other such employees are an absolute nightmare. Also, if they call a specialist in to treat you or your loved one, BE SURE TO CHECK WITH YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY!!! They called in a surgeon for my husband's gall bladder surgery, and our insurance didn't cover this surgeon!!! We weren't informed of this until AFTER the hospital sent us the bill!!! Also, my husband was instructed to go there, by Hutchinson EMS, after being victim to an inattentive driver, who crashed into him. This happened a year ago. We are still receiving phone calls from insurance companies. There is a weak link somewhere in their system.
