Typically, I love this place. I m from out of town and recently sought a day just to get away from the chaos at home. However, I was overwhelmed by the customer service. Several times while I was reading a section of a book a lady would interrupt my reading to ask if I needed help finding a book. I was there for a couple of hours, and was asked 10-15 times if I needed help; several by the same person. I did buy a book, though very expensive, and I left with the feeling I was being accused of stealing. I drove 1.5 hours to be treated like a shoplifter. I would rather have no customer service at Barnes & Noble than be treated as a common thief.
