BEWARE!! The living area and nursing station were a complete mess. There was heavy construction where I was at the time and the rooms and bathrooms were dirty and uncomfortable to say the least.

There were cameras in the rooms for observation (good) but they were not hooked up (bad). The floors were not finished. This was in stark contrast to the "front" of the organization where you came in that was clean and shiny.

I was not a dual diagnosis person since I just wanted to discontinue a benzodiazepine (Klonopin) that I had been on for a long time. I did not escalate dosage or show other signs of dependence. I just wanted to stop safely from 0.5mg of Klonopin. I was also depressed and anxious.

This should have been determined before I came into the program. The phone interviewer seemed like she just wanted me to come to FL (from the NE) as quickly as possible and I was told I would be assessed further within a day, but once in the program I was told that I would be seen by a Psych doc but that did not occur until after 3 days.

I was very upset because I was not an addict and that is what they called me. The professional staff did not know what they were doing! After later research I discovered that the procedures they used to decrease my klonopin dose were totally incorrect!

The meeting rooms where the AA meeting was going on were in a cloud of smoke. Healthy environment? The food was atrocious...not at all like presented in the marketing info. It cost me over $3K as well as airfare. Buyer Beware!! Stay away!!
