I have been a member of an association that offers events and networking opportunities similar to what the Japan-Western U.S. Association provides. However, I must say that the experiences I've had with this association have been far superior. The events are well-planned and offer unique insights into the Japan-U.S. relationship. The networking opportunities are also excellent, allowing me to meet professionals from various industries. Overall, I highly recommend getting involved with the Japan-Western U.S. Association.
