Having a similar bad experience with Lifeline awhi...

Having a similar bad experience with Lifeline awhile back, I was referred to them for my daughter who had been struggling and I was very worried and stressed about her situation. Their website says call now for free consultation . When I called the first question asked was what insurance we had!? REALLY?? They didn t ask me what my daughter's name was or the problems she was dealing with. They mentioned a few insurances they were not accepting and mine happen to be one of them. I told them I could pay cash or credit card if I had too, I tried expressing to them what was going on with my daughter. I was then handed off to a manager, Katie, I told her I was just trying to get some kind of help for my daughter, anything! I wanted to see if they could help her, or what kind of direction to go as a parent. She just kept saying to talk to my insurance company and that Lifeline couldn t help me. She was extremely unprofessional and rude about it, I believe all they care about is their guaranteed money, it was evident in the way I was treated. You don t treat people like that who are calling in desperate need of help! You don t just cut them off and hang up on them, very unprofessional! But as others have pointed out, they re all about getting their money from big insurance, and not willing to work with people who really need help. Extremely upset & disappointed parent, there is other options that are better and more professional than Lifeline!
