Definitely the place to go when you have only time to visit one of the royal palaces. You can expect an interesting insight into the history of London and the royals who lived there. On weekends, cues for tickets and the crown jewels can be really long. So if you have the opportunity, I would recommend going early in the morning and avoiding especially Saturdays. Make sure that you do one of the guided tours, which start right after the entrance every half an hour and are included in the ticket price. The guides (Beefeaters) are really enthusiastic and do a great job. Good information and lots of laughs. Make sure that you also see the White Tower which displays an impressive collection of amory and historic artefacts.
