Deceptive promotion and rude staff/management. They had a 2-for-1 lobster meal promotion a while ago. They got the word out via a sticker coupon on my local newspaper. So we went down to check it out. The menu indicated the lobster meal was $15.95. I let the waitress know we'd be using the coupon and we ordered 2 of them. When the bill came they charged us $19.95. I thought they just made a mistake and pointed it out to the waitress. She said the promotion is 2-for-1 "price" and that price is $19.95 even though it's not indicated on the sticker coupon. I asked if they ever sold a single lobster meal for $19.95 and she said no. I asked if we got anything different than what was in the $15.95 meal and she said no. She said $19.95 is a great price and why are we complaining about it? Really? I asked to speak to a manager and the manager was even ruder and made the price stand at $19.95. This is definitely one of those "principle" things. I can't believe for $4 they would insist on a price which isn't advertised anywhere and is totally misleading as a 2-for-1 promotion. Very slimy way of doing business and extremely rude staff and management. I still go there when friends insist, but steer clear otherwise. They've certainly lost more from me than the $4 they got out of me with that deceptive promotion. Otherwise, the food is decent and they have some unique dishes. :)
