As am experienced traveller, I've spent a lot of time overseas being accommodated in hotels, hostels, serviced apartments, homestays and holiday homes, but never in my years have inexperienced the lack of hospitality provided by that of my recent experience with GO WITH OH.

Having paid the full amount up front, we expected the apartment listed to look just like the photos, and sadly missed the small.print outlining that we would have to walk up 8 flights if narrow stairs and sleep in a crampt apartment with no air conditioning. 3 fans, with only 2 of them working in the height of the summer months for 3 people - is not safe, nor acceptable. Lastly, the bathroom and kitchen were safe to say... unhygenic.

Leaving in disgust, we tried to contact the owner who conveniently was "out of town" and the lady who met us with keys was less than helpful in our cry for help.

This company left us with no option but to find alternative accommodation on a busy weekend on Barcelona, and has refuted any kind of refund - despite the mess they expect their guests to enjoy while holidaying in cities around their world.

If you're planning on saving some money by booking with GO WITH OH; don't. They have left us 452 EURO out of pocket for 3 nights, and insist: "We are transparent in our descriptions and all customers who reserve our apartment know exactly what they will find and what they will not find on arrival which makes their choice easier prior to reserving"
