Squaw Valley is one of my favorite resorts within the Tahoe/Reno area. Within the ten years of snowboarding, I've been to all the resorts and still find myself visiting Squaw Valley at least once every season. There are many qualities makes Squaw outshine all the others. I'll highlight my main reasons:

1. Everyone is friendly - from the staffs at the parking lot to the staffs high above the mountain.

2. Diverse staffs - not many people will pay attention to this, but I do as I have older parents who are actively working bc aren't ready for retirement. I appreciate the fact that Squaw doesn't discriminate; age, gender, race, etc. You can connect with any staffs there bc of it.

3. Clean - I'm not sure about the men's restrooms, but the women's are clean. They also have complimentary feminine products.

4. Price - if you buy your ticket online early, you'll save at least $40. We bought ours online for $129; on day of, it was $169. The online purchase do not have expiration date and you can use them individually.

Overall, those are my main reasons for supporting and coming back to Squaw Valley besides their multiple runs for different level - beginners to experts.
