I am terribly disappointed in the San Bernardino Police Department. My granddaughter was beaten and her car stolen in San Bernardino. 3 Police cars arrived a minute after her assailants drove off in her car. They saw the car and ask her if it was the car and did nothing to pursue the vehicle. They took her report (which she never received) and dropped her off at a closed police station at 4a.m. to wait for someone to pick her up. When we went back to the station the next day, I was told that I could not speak up for my 19 year old granddaughter who was still in shock. That when the detectives call her to come in for an interview, I could not accompany her. These people treated my granddaughter like she was a criminal! Now they have the nerve to call back and ask her if she wants to press charges against the person who stole her car or her car back. This girls life has been turned upside down by the theft of her car and all her things that were in the car. She was a college student working her way through college. Due to the theft of her car, she lost her job and cannot continue school. And the police do nothing. No wonder San Bernardino is falling to the thugs. Sounds like the cops there are the thugs.
