We used this agency for a 2-week trip to Peru and 1 week in the Amazon.
I totally recommend this agency.
They knew how to understand what we wanted and meet our expectations.
We chose :
- nights at the locals (Colca Canyon and Island on Titikaka Lake), nights in hotels and lodges in the Amazon
I recommend a few nights at the inhabitants, even if the conditions of accommodation are very simple, sometimes difficult (in July, temperature of zero degrees in the canyon of Colca! And room without heating). But it remains an unforgettable experience with wonderful encounters. And in addition, it provides additional income to very small rural populations.
- transport by private vehicle, minibus, tourist bus, private boat for Titikaka,
- visits with private guides (Cusco, Machu Picchu, Salines de Maras, Sacred Valley ...) and group visits (Colca Canyon)
- in the Amazon, Tambopata Refugio Amazonas lodge. From the city and airport of Puerto Maldonado, it takes a total of 6 to 7 hours by boat. But it is really worth it: sailing in large motorized canoe in the heart of the Amazon, animal sightings (macaws, capybaras, caimans, monkeys, tapirs, tarantulas, frogs ...). Authentic lodge which also houses a macaws study center. You will observe macaws (hundreds of colorful macaws) that feed on mineral salts on cliffs of clay. Magic show.
The Paprika organization was great and unsurprising.
Everything was perfect (and yet our journey was not easy!)
