I've been stopping by Karl Strauss before going to Angels' games and even though a good amount of people have the same idea as me, it has always been a wonderful experience. The staff is attentive, friendly and even ready to recommend any beer for you for when you cannot make the decision. There is plenty of clean tables, booths and seats available for everyone. Being that it is Karl Strauss Brewery, you will find a large selection of beers on the menu (and I've yet to experience a visit in which they have ran out or do to have the beer I've selected). IPAS, hefs, pilsners, ales, stouts...they have it! You know what else goes good with beers??? Burgers and fries! They have that too. Their asada fries are pretty legit as well as their truffle fries. Their grass fed burger is juicy and has just the perfect amount of bun to meat ratio. They also have a variety of salads, tacos and even sirloin steak for any other cravings to be satisfied.
I was also informed that they have a fun happy hour on Saturdays and Sundays that consist of $5 flights and pints on beers and beermosas from 11am-3pm. I gotta come back for that and try their chilaquiles and their churro donuts for sure! Oh and did I mention, they have a happy hour Monday through Friday 3pm-6pm. $5 Karl Strauss beers and -$1 off beer apps such as those asada fries I mentioned earlier.
