I tried out approximately 8 pairs of binoculars. The number of species outside, was a surprise.
I selected the Vortex Viper 8x42's.
Phil, even attached the lanyard, and strap.
Life time guarantee, on the ones I selected.
Also I was invited back anytime, to use the observatory.
