I live in Lynn and the Lido is my go to pizza place. Been going there for years. A long, long time ago, more than 40 years ago, when I was a young man. Anyways, I been going there a long time, right. So back in the 1970's, I took a girl there for pizza and beers. When we ordered beers, the waitress said, I'm gonna need to see some ID. I start to pull my wallet out but the waitress says to me, "not yours, his." My date was not amused. But that was a long time ago.
I went there the other night and picked up pizza to take home. I have always liked their pepperoni pizza. But this one was different, with a thick, chewy crust around the edge. It was awesome. I loved it.
