MaggiMay Review of The Consulate General of the R...
I do not understand what why these reviews are so ...
I do not understand what why these reviews are so negative regarding the embassy.
I think in general polish people are rude and think the world owes them a red carpet treatment. If I had to work there all the time and deal with these arrogant people would also have a limit.
I been going to the embassy for the past 10 years with NO PROBLEMS at all. Both the ladies in the building were lovely and supportive. Maybe because I approached them with respect. People should try that. Treat other how you want to be treated. (Just a suggestion) Every time I been there, there has been someone who was rude towards the ladies. Swearing and just pure arrogance. There was no need for it, it is not their fault you can t read instructions! And if you struggle to read in polish. OH guess what. You can translate in google. Really. You can. No lies.
Regarding the building. Yes it is an old building, but you not living in there. You only there for an hour max if that. What the state of the building is, should not be a concern.
The website works well. The appointments come live when the embassy opens and you can choose your time and date. I have never had a problem with getting an appointment.
The phone service is excellent. Yes you wait to get your call answered (Oh no, you not treated like royalty? what? where is my red carpet? For that I will write a negative review and complain how it took me 5 min to wait in a que of a call)
I thank all the staff at the Edinburgh embassy and I feel for them that they have to deal with those kind of people daily.
