I have for decades never indulged myself in the need for the Chamber of Commerce in Cobb County. To assert any kind of support for my business. It has always appeared outdated and non-relevant to success in my microbusiness operations.
I still believe these groups cater to larger corporations.
Due to the 2020 business envitonment. I believe we maybe in a state where main street microbusiness may have a chance to be recognized as a player in the real fundamentals operations of the county.
The successful distribution of support from the COC to assist Cobb County to help micro business maintain its place in the real market place.
We pay for county business licenses every year. After 30 years, I truly felt my connection thru the Select Cobb program.
I feel a sense to help and support my county even more today than ever.
My company Art of Services has had great success over the past 11 years. Creating the brand Marietta's Superb Handyman.
2020 showed me how important my small role really is to the community at large.
I hope to share in my gathered knowledge, struggle and ideas to solve some of the most frustrating microbusiness milestones as well as the road blocks that our commerce system creates.
I plan on trying to get this message across to my local community leaders using the support and connection the COC provides.
