I travel quite a bit for work and have stayed at other hotels in this chain. They are generally very neat and clean. Issues come up, that happens, but they resolve them without attitude or blaming their customers. This was not the case at this location. They put my party of three in a room with one bed, and then told us that is what we booked, wanted to know why we had three people, offered to walk us, and finally asked what I wanted them to do about it. The hotel was completely booked and I understood that, but maybe it would be best to not start by blaming your customer for the problem.
The toilet didn't flush in our room and I ended up sleeping on a fold-out sofa bed, all for $349. What a great deal. They did say they would discount our room, so I'll check my credit card statement to see if that actually happened.
Apart from the non-functioning toilet, the room was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed looked like it would have been comfortable. I kind of wonder if they simply treat business travelers better. I will still stay at this chain in the future because this was the only negative experience I've had with one, but I'll skip this particular location.
