We booked here last minute as our flight had been diverted to London Stansted due to the weather. The lady on the dask, Alisson, was really lovely and on hearing our tale of woe (and our engagement while on holiday) she upgraded us for free and left a beautiful box of flowers, and a note, at the desk in the morning. This was a wonderful gesture that made us feel a lot happier after the trails of the day before. I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel just due Alisson, but it also has a really nice buffet style breakfast and the room was to an excellent standard.
